The Americas Gas Summit (AGS 2018) will take place 14-16th November 2018 in Panama, the regional hub for global gas and LNG. It has been developed as a platform for gas cooperation in the Americas with the participation of key regional and international stakeholders along the entire gas value chain.

Through a high level and strategic conference programme where the private sector will be able to debate opportunities and bottlenecks with invited public sector representatives from across the region, the meeting will drive development in the current gas market. AGS 2018 will fully showcase gas procurement and utilisation strategies and bring together a global gathering of energy leaders to enable Latin America and the Caribbean to achieve its full gas potential, taking into account the specific stages of gas development that characterises countries of the region.

The role of each country is both exciting and critical; AGS 2018 will unite governments, hydrocarbon agencies, gas regulators, NOCs and NGCs together with credible local, regional and international participants to reinforce gas development, highlighting the opportunities for investment and development of the Americas gas markets.

AGS 2018 will act as an anchor and provide a voice for the multiple efforts that are being made by national, multilateral and private institutions to enable the regulatory framework and technical conditions needed to facilitate the advancement of a structured gas market at both national and regional levels.

The Programme

Through a strategic conference programme, workshops, exhibition and exclusive site visits, AGS 2018 will fully showcase gas procurement and utilisation strategies and bring together a global gathering of energy leaders to enable Latin America and the Caribbean to achieve its full gas potential.
